Top New Zealand fashion designer Kate Sylvester is headed to iD Dunedin Fashion Week.
Auckland-based Sylvester will show her Autumn Winter 2016 collection, 'a Muse', as well as judging the iD International Emerging Designer Awards.
The collection was inspired by the women behind Picasso's artworks, and references his cubist style.
"iD Fashion Week is a very prestigious and important event for New Zealand fashion. I'm looking forward to participating and supporting our incredible South Island customers and retailers," Sylvester said.

She will give also a talk at Dunedin Public Art Gallery on March 18 on the influence of art on her collections, and the intersection of art and fashion more generally.
Cherry Lucas, committee chair, said she was thrilled to have Sylvester's work on the iD Dunedin runway for the first time.
"Kate Sylvester is a name synonymous with style and seeing her current collection on the runway will be fabulous.
"Hearing Kate talk about the impact of art on her own collections over 22 years in fashion in our own stunning Dunedin Public Art Gallery looks to be a truly inspiring event – and a must for all fashion lovers."
Sylvester's clothes are stocked around the world, and beloved for their feminine but interesting aesthetic. Her collection will show on March 18 and 19 at Dunedin Railway Station.
